Sunstone Digging by Jason

A sunstone is the Oregon's state gem. They are copper laden crystals that formed millions of years ago. I think it would be fun going there because you can find many of these gems at this mine. what you will do there is ether go to the convector belt and try to pick out the many hundreds of little sunstone pieces, dig dirt into this filter and move the tray. This will filter most of the little rocks and the dirt. Or you can just dig out the ground to find them. This is not in a dark mine shaft in the middle of nothing, The sunstone spectrum mine is located in the south west of Oregon, 30 miles of plush. Going here is a good way to get out of the house, and have fun. The website that I found it on is travelOregon.com, this website is is good for find family fun. Another website about this is Highdesrtgemsandminerals, this website is about this and more gem mines.
